Mission Hex-1
Intermediate Composite Hockey Stick
Bridge Affect
- - Acts like an I-Beam reinforcing each side by attaching at multiple areas
across the face fusing the Hex Core to each laminate/side of the blade face.
- Resin flows from one laminate(face) to the other thru the honeycomb walls
joing both sides
HEXCORE Blade
- HexCore reinforcement is added to the thinner foam, to add strength
- HexCore structural support is bonded with external walls to create
'structural strength' & without increasing foam density/weight
- Thinner, lighter blade is stronger than traditional blades and provide a
more responsive feel during gameplay
Shaft
- Ideal shaft weight provides better balance - New engineering standard for
high end shafts increases performance and durability while greatly devreasing
weight
- 4 types of material versus two in most OPS - fibers that are designed
specifically for durability and strength
- Aerospace driven technology utlilizes multiple standard and lightweight
layers of composite carbon fiber
- Slow cured - typical accelerators in composite technology can limit the
"Impact durability" of a shaft
- Slow cured shaft eliminates additives to make the composite shaft stronger
and more resistant to impact as well as consistency and quality of the
composite is improved
- Specifically positioned lightweight Carbon Fibers in the 'kick point' of
the shaft generate a faster puck release
