Goalie Hockey Skates are made for ice hockey and roller hockey.  Goalie Hockey Skates run a bit different from your regular tennis shoe size.  Goalie Hockey Skates tend to run big in size.  Goalie Hockey Skates run 1 to 1 1/2 sizes large.  So for instance, if you wear a size 9 tennis shoe and you are not growing, you want to get a size 7 1/2 or size 8 skate.  If you are growing, you might want to get your Goalie Hockey Skates the same size or 1/2 size down from your tennis shoe size.  That will allow for a little growth.  We have found that Goalie Hockey Skates are better to get just slightly big so your toe doesn't crush against the front of the skate because when the puck hits your toe, there is just a bit of space for cusion.  we carry Goalie Hockey Skates from Nike Bauer, CCM, RBK, and Tour.
